This Location is the ONLY GOLFTEC in Connecticut
GOLFTEC West Hartford, 1146 New Britain Avenue, will host a grand opening event March 11-12 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with refreshments, contests and prizes. Everyone is welcome to meet the team and learn about the improvement process and club-fitting options that have led to a 96 percent success rate among GOLFTEC students.
The new GOLFTEC Center features state-of-the-art hitting bays, equipped with the latest motion measurement technology, high speed cameras, and launch monitors designed to provide customers with a comprehensive learning, practicing, and club purchasing experience. The atmosphere inside is dynamic and welcoming, offering cutting edge amenities and comfortable seating areas.
GOLFTEC students drop an average of seven strokes after starting lessons with the company.
Each GOLFTEC student undergoes a Swing Evaluation to assess their skill, followed by a Certified Personal Coach recommending a specific game plan, which includes fundamental elements like video practice, short game lessons and a TECFIT® club fitting session. While most lessons are taught indoors in our private bays, coaches also accompany players for on-course/outdoor lessons to ensure they are comfortable in real golf course situations.
“The Hartford area has a wonderful golf heritage and is home to a large and growing number of players,” says Owner Bill Souza. “Our mission is to help everyone play better golf through improved swing mechanics and clubs tailored to their swing. When people play better, they enjoy their experience more and play more often. Our customers’ personal success is a win/win for the golf community. As a family-owned business, we are committed to providing a complete learning experience for golfers and to finding ways to give back to our greater community through a sport we love.”
On top of their PGA credentials, GOLFTEC coaches go through a rigorous multi-week training program at the Company Headquarters in Denver, CO. The extensive training ensures that every coach has mastered the analysis of golf swing mechanics. Coaches also learn how to use advanced technology to diagnose swing faults and use the most productive teaching techniques to make changes more efficiently. Committed to strengthening the industry and hiring only the best staff, GOLFTEC is the largest employer of PGA Professionals in the world. The West Hartford Center is proud to introduce our Coaches:
