General:  Amateur Golfers must be an active member of a CSGA member club with a USGA GHIN Handicap index before you can register to apply for championships or the CSGA Player's Club.
After activating your membership and joining the CSGA Player's Club you may apply for championships if you meet the Eligibility/Residency Requirements.

Inactive Members:   If you are a member of a CSGA Member Club whose record has been inactivated, please contact your Handicap Chair/GHIN Manager at your golf club to activate your 2010 USGA GHIN Handicap Index.

Non-Members:   You must join a CSGA Member Club:

Type 1 Golf Clubs:  Clubs at a Golf Course.  The club is located at a single specific golf course with a valid USGA Course RatingT and USGA Slope Rating® where a majority of the club's events are played and the club's scoring records reside.

Join a Men's or Women’s Club at a Type 1 Golf Club:  Public courses have active Men's and Women's clubs that you may join.  Contact a CSGA Member Club for more information.

Type 2 Golf Clubs:  Club members are affiliated or known to one another via a business, fraternal, ethnic or social organization. The majority of the club members had an affiliation prior to organizing the golf club.

Type 3 Golf Clubs:  Club members have no prior affiliation and a majority of recruiting and sign-up is done online to the general public.
