General:
Amateur Golfers must be an active
member of a CSGA member club with a USGA GHIN
Handicap index before you can register to apply for championships
or the CSGA Player's Club. After activating your membership and
joining the CSGA Player's Club you may apply for championships if
you meet the
Eligibility/Residency Requirements.
Inactive Members:
If you are a member of a CSGA Member Club whose record has
been inactivated, please contact your Handicap Chair/GHIN Manager
at your golf club to activate your 2010 USGA GHIN Handicap Index.
Non-Members:
You must join a CSGA Member Club:
Type 1 Golf Clubs: Clubs at a Golf Course. The
club is located at a single specific golf course with a valid USGA
Course RatingT and USGA Slope Rating® where a majority of the
club's events are played and the club's scoring records reside.
Join a Men's or Women’s
Club at a Type 1 Golf Club: Public courses have
active Men's and Women's clubs that you may join. Contact a
CSGA Member
Club for more information.
Type 2 Golf Clubs: Club members are affiliated or
known to one another via a business, fraternal, ethnic or social
organization. The majority of the club members had an affiliation
prior to organizing the golf club.
Create a Type 2 Golf Club: Have your Golf League become a
Licensed Golf Club
Type 3 Golf Clubs: Club members have no prior
affiliation and a majority of recruiting and sign-up is done
online to the general public.
Join a Type 3 Golf Club: Members must reside
within 50 miles of Type 3 club.
