(August 11, 2022) – Five players from Connecticut will be competing in the 122nd U.S. Amateur next week in Paramus, New Jersey. The first day of stroke play qualifying will begin on Monday with the field split between The Ridgewood Country Club and Arcola Country Club.

Once stroke play qualifying is complete the top 64 players will advance to match play beginning on Wednesday at The Ridgewood Country Club. The Round of 32 and 16 will be contested on Thursday followed by the quarterfinals on Friday, the semifinals on Saturday, and the 36-hole title match on Sunday.
