(September 14, 2022) – It has been a lifetime in golf for Lisa Fern-Boros. Shortly after Fern-Boros returned from the U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur in Alaska we had a chance to talk with her about the importance of golf in her life. Fern-Boros also talked about her recent health scare and how just hours before her plane departed for the U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur she was cleared to fly.

The Connecticut State Golf Association functions as an extension of the USGA and provides stewardship for amateur golf in Connecticut. Founded in 1899, it is the country’s oldest state golf association and conducts over 60 Championships, Qualifiers, and One Day Tournaments throughout the year.
