Hartford, Connecticut (September 19, 2022) – Jen Holland carded a 1-over 71 to capture the CSGA Women’s One Day at Keney Park Golf Course presented by Chris Cote’s Golf Shop.
Holland played a steady round of golf that included three birdies and four bogeys. Her first birdie of the day came on the par-3 sixth hole with additional birdies falling on Nos. 10 and 12.
Lisa Fern-Boros posted a 3-over 73 to finish in second place, Kristin Regan was third at 7-over, Lisa Zuba took fourth with an 8-over tally while Carole Oat was fifth at 11-over.
The shot of the day belonged to Lisa Zuba who recorded an ace on the par-3 sixth. With a pitching wedge in hand from 94 yards out Zuba, a former Northeastern University hockey player, recorded the second hole-in-one of her career. The cheers of jubilation could be heard throughout the course.
In the Net Division Cecily Vasington emerged victorious with a 4-under tally. Diane McCauley (-3) was second, Kira Kelly and Donna McGee shared third at 1-under while Fern-Boros (E) was fifth.
