Somers, Connecticut (September 26, 2022) – The titles at the final regular season One Day Tournament presented by Chris Cote’s Golf Shop of the year went to Kyle Nolin, Gary Mattesen, and Rob Bartha.
Playing at Cedar Knob Golf Course Kyle Nolin won the Tettelbach Open Division with a 1-over 73. 1-under after 13 holes Nolin, who has seven top-10 finishes in One Day events this season, bogeyed the 14th and double-bogeyed the 15th to drop back to 2-over before he rebounded with a birdie on the closing 405 yard par-4. The birdie on the final hole proved to be the difference maker as Steven Langlois, Chris Maxwell, and Jason Longo all tied for second place at 2-over.
Tim Giuliano was alone in fifth place at 3-over.
The Siderowf Gross Division title was shared by Gary Mattesen and Rob Barrtha with rounds of level-par 72.
Mattesen recorded three birdies and three pars during his round with his birdies falling on Nos. 3, 9, and 17.
Bartha started his round bogey-bogey and finished his round with a double-bogey. However, in between he was spectacular. At one point he birdied three holes in a row from Nos. 6-8 and then added another birdie on the 13th.
Seven players posted 2-over 74s to finish in a tie for third. The group included Rick Lawrence, Michael Byrne, Rich Dickinson, Tom Cutone, Thomas Brett, Dave Jones, and Craig Platt.
In the Tettelbach Net Division Mark Brooks and Adam Pogorzelski shared first at 6-under, Chad Davis and Glenn Pelt, Jr. were third at 3-under while David Kennedy was 2-under in fifth place.
The top spot in the Siderowf Gross Division was shared by Mattesen, Bartha, and Paul Zagozewski at 3-under. Alden Foss and John Odell tied for fourth at 2-under.
