Stratford, Connecticut (June 20, 2023) – Lisa Fern-Boros turned in a 5-over 77 to win the Women’s One Day Tournament presented by Chris Cote’s Golf Shop.
Playing at Blackhawk Country Club Fern-Boros put together a strong round of golf that included six bogeys and one birdie. Her lone birdie dropped on the 336-yard par-4 16th and it helped her create the separation she needed to win her second career Women’s One Day Tournament.

In the Net Division Christen D’Andrea (-4) inched past Gilda Pavlech (-3) to take the title. Fern-Boros and Linda Johnson shared third at 1-under with Regan, Bardsley, and Josephine Elliott tying for fifth with a 2-over tally.
The top two players in each division have earned an invitation to the season ending Al Acker One Day Championship scheduled for October 10 at Lake of Isles. The players that earned an invitation include Fern-Boros, Large, D’Andrea, and Pavlech.
