Connecticut Well Represented at 123rd U.S. Amateur

(August 11, 2023) – Five Connecticut residents will be competing in the 123rd U.S. Amateur set to be played from August 14-20 at Cherry Hills Country Club and Colorado Golf Club. Connecticut will be represented by the sixth-ranked amateur in the world Ben James, Cody Paladino, Jack Woods, Jack Chung, and Shane Bacon.

123rd U.S. Amateur Tee Times 

312 players will begin the week and after two days of stroke play qualifying the field will be trimmed to the top 64 for the beginning of match play on Wednesday. Match play will be played exclusively at Cherry Hills CC. The week will conclude with the 36-hole championship match on Sunday.
