My Connecticut Women’s Open Victory: Liz Janangelo Caron

(March 22, 2024) – This year the Connecticut Women’s Open presented by Crescent Point Private Wealth will be celebrating its 25th anniversary. In the lead-up to this year’s tournament at Madison Country Club from May 28-29 we will be looking back at a number of memorable Connecticut Women’s Open winners.

The second installment of our My Connecticut Women’s Open Victory series shines the spotlight on four-time winner Liz Janangelo Caron. The recent Connecticut Golf Hall of Fame inductee captured all four of her titles in succession from 2003-2006.

The CSGA functions as an extension of the USGA and provides stewardship for amateur golf in Connecticut. Founded in 1899, it is the country’s oldest state golf association and conducts over 60 Championships, Qualifiers, and One Day Tournaments throughout the year.
