(May 1, 2024) – This year the Connecticut Women’s Open presented by Crescent Point Private Wealth will be celebrating its 25th anniversary. In the lead-up to this year’s tournament at Madison Country Club from May 28-29 we will be looking back at a number of memorable Connecticut Women’s Open winners.
The fourth installment of our My Connecticut Women’s Open Victory series features 2018 winner Sarah Burnham. In 2018 Burnham, a recent Michigan State graduate, playing in her first event as a professional captured the title at Innis Arden Golf Club.
Now six years later after a career on the LPGA Tour, Burnham the head coach of the Oakland University women’s golf team, reflects on her triumph. Burnham talks about what she remembers from her victory and also about her transition to coaching college golf.
