Tommy Dorso, Jr., Paul Vaitkus Winners at Whitney Farms One Day Tournament

(June 18, 2024) – Tommy Dorso, Jr. and Paul Vaitkus emerged as the winners at the Whitney Farms Golf Club One Day Tournament sponsored by Chris Cote’s Golf Shop.

Tommy Dorso, Jr. was the only player to finish under par carding a 1 under 70 to win the Tettelbach Gross Division by three shots over runner-up Chris Maxwell (+3).

Final Results

Dorso, Jr. signed a scorecard that included three birdies and two bogeys. His birdies came on Nos. 3, 8, and 11.

Kevin Klepacki, Mike Benoit, Gavin Giroux, and Michael Rege all finished 5 over to share third.

In the Siderowf Gross Division, Paul Vaitkus captured the title with a 3 over 74. Playing on his home course, Vaitkus birdied twice and bogeyed five times on his way to victory. His birdies dropped on Nos. 3 and 5.

The top five was rounded out by Paul Flament (+5) in second place, Carl Nero and Nick Snyder shared third at 7 over while Henry Ricketts and Ray Underwood were 8 over in a tie for fifth.

Leading the way in the Tettlebach Net Division was Dorso, Jr. (-4) followed by Steven Csejka (-2) in second, Giroux (-1) in third with Klepacki and Beniot two shots further back at 1 0ver in a tie of fourth.

The Siderowf Net Division was paced by Snyder (-3) who was one shot better than Vaitkus (-2). Scott Harger (E) was third while Nero and Flament (+2) shared fourth place.
