Austin Perkins celebrates his exemption into the 2024 U.S. Amateur.

(January 30, 2025) – In 2025 four CSGA champions will earn exemptions into USGA championships. Last year only the Connecticut Amateur winner earned an exemption. This year the 125th U.S. Amateur will be played at The Olympic Club in San Francisco from August 11-17.

For the first time, the winners of the Connecticut Junior Amateur, Connecticut Girls’ Junior, and the Connecticut Women’s Amateur will all earn exemptions.

The 77th U.S.  Junior Amateur will be played at Trinity Forest Golf Club in Texas from July 21-26 while the 76th U.S. Girls’ Junior will be played from July 14-19 at the Atlanta Athletic Club in Georgia. Finally, the 125th U.S. Women’s Amateur will head to the famed Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Oregon from August 4-10.

Additionally, the Connecticut Senior Amateur winner will earn an exemption into 45th U.S. Senior Open Final Qualifying. This year the U.S. Senior Open will be contested from June 26-29 at The Broadmoor in Colorado.
