Fosdick Leads 2 Up, 18 Holes Remain at Connecticut Amateur

West Hartford, Connecticut (June 18, 2021) – After 18 holes in the 119th Connecticut Amateur championship match defending champion Chris Fosdick holds a 2 up lead over last year’s runner-up Cody Paladino.

Fosdick got off to a quick start birdieing two of the first three holes to take a 2 up lead. Fosdick extended his lead with a win on the fifth and then rolled in birdies to win the 10th and 13th holes. Trailing 5 up Paladino, the 2013 winner, began to slowly turn the tide winning the par-4 14th with a par, then got another hole back with his first birdie of the day on the par-4 15th. Fosdick and Paladino tied the next two holes before Paladino won the 18th with an excellent up and down par.
