The Connecticut State Golf Association is pleased to announce that Golf On The Green, an indoor golf training program and facility based in New Milford will join Cobra Puma as presenting sponsor of both the CSGA Junior Amateur Championship and the CSGA Junior Four Ball Championship.
Founded by PGA Professional Paul Ramee, Golf On The Green, provides a state-of-the-art off-season training program each year from November 1 through March 31. The New Milford training center includes hitting bays, indoor putting and chipping greens, advanced technologies for swing analysis and expert instruction.
Ramee, the Head Professional at Bull’s Bridge Golf Club launched Golf On The Green in 2013 to serve serious golfers intent upon improving their game during the winter months.
“I love to teach and coach players of all levels,” says Ramee, “and I’ve always believed the off-season is the time to make minor or major swing changes that can pay off through repetition and regular practice. It’s really the best time to do it. It can be difficult to make necessary changes when you’re in season and playing tournaments, whether it’s a club or local events or CSGA championships.”
“Golf On The Green is a great fit for our association,” says CSGA Executive Director Mike Moraghan. “Paul Ramee is a consummate professional, and I think every golfer regardless of their current level of play can benefit from the type of off-season program Paul is providing.”
Golf On The Green is located “on the green” in the center of New Milford. A Flight Scope Launch Monitor, V1 Video System, Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Physical Screenings, Shot By Shot Complete Game Analysis, and a Sam Putt Lab analysis is available to address each player’s complete game from driving to putting.
