ROCKY HILL, CT – The Connecticut State Golf Association has announced a new partnership with Golf Metrics dba ShowMeGolfers that will include a live, shot-by-shot broadcast of the Final Match of the 72nd Connecticut Junior Amateur Championship, being played Thursday, July 11th at Watertown Golf Club.
“The CSGA is proud to introduce a new and innovative way to follow our championships,” said Brent Paladino, Communications and Competitions Manager for the Connecticut State Golf Association. “We believe that it is important to find new ways to make golf more interesting for our players and spectators, and the ShowMeGolfers platform will allow us to make golf a better experience for everyone.”
Last month, the CSGA debuted the ShowMeGolfers platform with a live broadcast of the 36-hole final at the 111th Connecticut Amateur Championship. The broadcast included shot-by-shot tracking of the match in real time, which allowed interested spectators to follow the action from their computer. Click here to see highlights from the broadcast.
