Farmington, Connecticut (August 5, 2024) – Trevor Hislop, Matt Muro, and Dave Jones all earned titles at the Farmington Woods Golf Club sponsored by Chris Cote’s Golf Shop.
In the Tettelbach Gross Division Trevor Hislop and Matt Muro shared the title with 2 over 74s. They finished one shot in front of John Murphy III and Ronald Soccoli both of whom finished 3 over. Chris Maxwell rounded out the top five with a 4 0ver showing.
Hislop played a steady round that included three bogeys and one birdie. His birdie came on the par-3 eighth.
Muro had an up-and-down day that was comprised of three birdies and five bogeys. His birdies came on Nos. 6, 8, and 18.
In the Siderowf Gross Division Dave Jones earned the top spot with a 2 over 72 finishing one shot in front of second place finishers – Rick Lawrence, Shane Hassett, and Bill Hermanson. Gary Mattesen and James Lawler shared fifth at 4 over.
Jones had a seesaw day that included an eagle on the par-5 sixth, two birdies, four bogeys, and a double bogey. His birdies dropped on Nos. 7 and 16.
Leading the way in the Tettelbach Net Division was Muro (-2) while Hislop (-1) was the runner-up. Soccoli and John Miecznikowski shared third at 1 over with Jesse Flores, Marty Girouard, and Adam Pogorzelski shared fifth at 3 over.
The top spot in the Siderowf Net Division was claimed by Thomas Kim (-5) with Jim Moore and Hassett sharing second at 2 under. Four players – Mattesen, Lawrence, Mike Noel, and Nick Snyder – all shared fourth at 2 over.
