Ferney, Lawrence Win Lyman Orchards One Day

Middlefield, Connecticut (May 23, 2022) – Brian Ferney and Rick Lawrence earned the titles at the Lyman Orchards Golf Club One Day presented by Chris Cote’s Golf Shop.

Ferney carded a 4-over 76 to win the Tettelbach Open Division by one shot over PJ Gehris (+5). On the day Ferney played a steady round of golf that included five bogeys and one birdie which came on the par-3 7th hole.

Rammi Hazzaa (+5) was third, Ronald Soccoli (+7) placed fourth while Steve Mikulski, Patrick Griffin, and Colin Murphy shared fifth at 8-over.

In the Siderowf Gross Division Lawrence signed for a 2-over 74 that was highlighted by three birdies. Lawrence played Nos. 4-14 in 2-under-par with all three of his birdies coming during that stretch.

Results

Frank Geiger and Kieran Kilkenny shared second at 2-over, Tom Brett was fourth at 4-over, and Stuart Goldstein was fifth at 5-over.

Leading the way in the Tettelbach Net Division were Ferney and William Burruss at 1-over while Dan Greaney, John Miecznikowski, and Hazzaa shared third at 3-over.

In Siderowf Net Division Tom Hurd took the top spot finishing 5-under, Kilkenny was second at 2-under, Lawrence was 1-under in third with Bill Douton, Geiger, and Jeffrey Russell were one shot further back in a tie for fourth at even-par.
