Gregware, a Maryland commit, bested top-seed Austin Perkins (Hartford GC) in the morning Round of 16 before handling AJ Depaolo (Farms CC) 6&5 in the quarterfinals.

Gregware, a semifinalist last year as well, won four of the first five holes in his quarterfinal match and never looked back.

Schrohe bested Alex Elia (Silver Spring CC) 3&2 in the quarterfinals. With the match tied after six holes, Schrohe won the next two holes to take a lead he would never relinquish. Elia did pull within 1 down on two occasions but Schrohe won Nos. 15 and 16 to seal the deal.

Gavin Kvadus (EClub of Connecticut) advanced to the semifinals with a 2-up win over Andrew Stickel (Burning Tree CC). Kvadus was 3 up after 14 holes only to watch as Stickel forced play to the par-5 18th hole. However, Kvadus refound his form birdieing the last to close out the match.

Kvadus will now face Robby Rosati (Great River GC) who defeated Robert Zyskowski III (New Haven CC) in the quarterfinals 5&4.

Rosati, playing in the semifinals for a second consecutive year, was 3 up after four holes and 4 up by the turn. He then pushed his lead to 5 up with a win on the par-3 10th before clinching his victory on No. 14.

The 82nd Connecticut Junior Amateur will conclude on Thursday with the semifinals being contested in the morning followed by the championship match in the afternoon.
