Farmington, Connecticut (October 1, 2024) – With a splendid 4 under 67 Valentina Marie Guertin and University of Missouri commit Aliya Liberatore earned a spot in the field of the 10th U.S. Women’s Amateur Four-Ball Championship. The championship is set to be played next year from May 11-15 at Oak Hills Country Club in Texas.

Final Results

The duo got their day off to a quick start with a birdie on the short opening par-4 1st but then cooled off and as they reached the par-5 9th they were 1 over for the day. However, on the back-to-back par-5s, the entire complexion of their day changed as they recorded consecutive eagles on Nos. 9 and 10 to jump to 3 under.

They did drop a shot on the par-4 14th but birdies on the final two holes solidified their spot atop the leaderboard.

The first alternate spot went to Mia Holbrook and Amanda Phillips who outlasted Amy Goddard and Vaidehi Shah in a playoff after both teams finished 1 over.
