(March 27, 2025) – 2024 Connecticut Women’s Amateur champion Maisie Filler recently earned a spot on the Epson Tour.

Playing in the NXXT Women’s Pro Golf Tour Qualifer at LPGA International with two Epson Tour exemptions up for grabs, Filler finished regulation even-par and tied for second place with Jensen Castle.

In the playoff, Filler was able to get the better of Castle and earn her exemption. Filler’s first event as a member of the Epson Tour will be the IOA Championship presented by Morongo Casino Resort and Spa hosted by Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon in California. The event will be played from April 25-27.

Filler earned her spot in the playoff with rounds of 71-71-74. The 2024 Liz Janangelo Caron Women’s Player of the Year got off to a quick start in her final round, playing the opening nine in 3 under 33, thanks to a birdie and an eagle. Filler did struggle on the back nine, carding a 5 over 41 however, her hot start proved to be enough for Filler to earn a spot in a playoff.

Filler, 23 years old, is less than a year removed from a decorated college career at the University of Florida. The longtime Hartford Golf Club member played in the Augusta National Women’s Amateur twice, was a three-time All-SEC honoree, played in the 2024 U.S. Women’s Open, and got as high as No. 26 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings.
