Michaels Jewelers to Become “Official Jeweler of the CSGA”

(March 27, 2025) – The Connecticut State Golf Association is excited to announce Michaels Jewelers as the “Official Jeweler of the CSGA.”

With 11 locations and two buying centers throughout Connecticut, Michaels Jewelers is one of the state’s leading merchants of diamonds and fine jewelry. Michaels Jewelers has been family owned and operated since 1885.

In July of 2019, Camile Hannoush and family purchased the fifth generation business to continue the legacy of the Michaels brand. Michaels Jewelers prides itself on its ability to connect with customers, and provide exceptional and compassionate service. Michaels Jewelers is proud to be a member of the American Gem Society and has been the trusted jeweler in the state of Connecticut for over 130 years.

“We are thrilled to partner with the Connecticut State Golf Association and support its commitment to promoting the game of golf across our state,” said Michaels Jewelers President Camile Hannoush. “At Michaels Jewelers, we believe in fostering meaningful connections within our community, and this partnership allows us to celebrate both the spirit of the sport and the shared values of tradition, excellence, and camaraderie.”

As the “Official Jeweler of the CSGA,” Michaels Jewelers will be the presenting sponsor of the 22nd Russell C. Palmer Cup. The 2025 edition will be played from May 19-20 at the Country Club of Waterbury.

Michaels Jewelers will also have a presence throughout the year in CSGA eBlasts, on the GHIN App, in the eRevision and Global Golf Post newsletters, along with on social media.

“Michaels Jewelers is a great fit as a corporate partner of the CSGA. Exceptional quality and brands, and a highly respected tradition of excellence. As the oldest state golf association in the country, founded in 1899, it’s not often we find a partner who has been around longer than we have. That Michaels dates back to 1885 speaks to their remarkable history and outstanding reputation,” CSGA Executive Director Mike Moraghan said. “We couldn’t be happier to have such an iconic enterprise as our newest partner.”

Additionally, throughout the year, CSGA members can expect special promotions and all CSGA members are invited to visit Michaels Jewelers in person at any of its 11 locations and two buying centers throughout the state. To find the location nearest you, click here.
