(April 25, 2022) – On a cloudy but comfortable spring day Cody Paladino and Bill Hermanson continued their stellar early season play capturing the titles at the Topstone Golf Course One Day Tournament presented by Chris Cote’s Golf Shop.
Paladino won his second consecutive Tettelbach Open Division title with a 2-under 70 that put him one shot clear of 2021 Tettelbach Open Division Player of the Year Chris Maxwell. On Monday Paladino got off to a quick start birdieing two of his first five holes on his way to a three birdie, one bogey round.
Maxwell was second at 1-under, John Sawka took third at 3-over, while four players including Seth Jainchill, Steven Langlois, Matt Easdon, and Kyle Nolin shared fourth at 4-over.
In the Siderowf Gross Division Bill Hermanson signed for an even-par 72 to earn a one shot victory. Hermanson birdied Nos. 2, 4, and 5 to offset a double-bogey on the third and a bogey on No. 14.
Stuart Goldstein was second at 1-over, Rick Lawrence was 2-over in third, 2021 Senior Match Play winner Craig Platt and Peter Davison shared fourth at 3-over.
The Tettlebach Net Division title went to Maxwell (E) with Sawka (+2) in second and four others in a tie for third at 3-over to round out the top-five. The group in third included Evan Boggini, Langlois, Marty Girouard, and Easdon.
Sharing the Siderowf Net Division title were Goldstein and Lawrence at 1-over, John Higgins and Frank Flood tied for third at 2-over while 3-over fifth place was shared by Brad Kidney, Tony Rucker, Hermanson, and John Feehan.
