New Preston, Connecticut (June 29, 2023) – With a 3-over 73 Steve Mais earned the victory at the Lake Waramaug Country Club Siderowf One Day Tournament presented by Chris Cote’s Golf Shop.
Mais put together a round that included four bogeys and one birdie. It was his birdie on the 129-yard par-3 15th that proved to be the difference.
Frank Geiger and Tom Brett tied for second at 4-over while Tom Cutone and Bruce Kraczkowsky shared fourth with a tally of 5-over.
In the Net Division David Stilson took home the top spot with an impressive 4-under 66. Mais, Mike Hiltman, Eric Besman, Geiger, and John D’Angelo all tied for second at even par.
