Preview (July 30, 2026) – 41st Connecticut Public Links Heads to Richter Park Golf Course

For the first time since 2009 and the third time overall, the Connecticut Public Links Championship returns to Richter Park Golf Course. A field of 82 players, including seven past champions, will compete from August 3-4 for the right to hoist the trophy at the end of the 41st edition of the Connecticut Public Links Championship.

Tee Times

“We are thrilled to welcome the Connecticut Public Links back to our course,” PGA Director of Operations Jonathan Pinto said. “The level of talent and the added publicity that comes with this event always creates an exciting atmosphere, and it’s something our members truly enjoy.”

Pinto continued speaking on what the field can expect out of the 1972 Edward Ryder design.

“Richter Park GC isn’t the longest course, but it demands precision and smart decision-making. The course has several tricky hole designs, multiple blind shots, and water coming into play on 14 of the 18 holes. Success here is less about overpowering the course and more about course management. Driver is not necessary on many holes, though aggressive players will find opportunities to take calculated risks.”

Play at the 41st Connecticut Public Links Championship will begin at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, August 3. Following the completion of the first round, the top 3o and ties will advance to Tuesday’s final round.

Earlier this year, he was the co-medalist at the Connecticut Amateur.
