(June 2, 2026) – The Connecticut State Golf Association is excited to announce that Power Golf Performance Physical Therapy has become a supporting partner of the CSGA.
“I have had the fortunate opportunity to help hundreds of golfers prepare for their tournament seasons over the last four seasons,” said owner and founder of Power Golf Performance Physical Therapy, Jeff Delucia. “Golf training offers a productive way to improve beyond playing more rounds. While many focus on practice at the course or range, significant progress often comes from off-course efforts. Building strength, mobility, and stability benefits your swing and supports long-term health. This approach provides a consistent area for improvement, even when outdoor practice is not possible.”
Located in Glastonbury, Power Golf Performance Physical Therapy offers both in-person and virtual training sessions.
Jeff, a regular in CSGA events, is a highly qualified professional dedicated to enhancing golf performance through his expertise in physical therapy and deep understanding of the biomechanics of the golf swing. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from the University of Connecticut and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Hartford, Jeff possesses a solid academic foundation combined with extensive practical experience.
As part of the partnership with the CSGA, Power Golf Performance Physical Therapy will periodically share articles with CSGA members with tips and insights on improving your game through fitness. Additionally, Power Golf Performance Physical Therapy will have a presence on the CSGA social media channels and be on-site throughout the season, offering assessments and meeting golfers.
Continuing, Jeff explained, “high-level players prioritize training because it is a proven standard among top golfers. Professionals take strength, mobility, recovery, and preparation seriously. Golf training is one of the most effective and accessible ways to enhance performance. Modern statistics and strokes gained data highlight the importance of driving distance. While technical adjustments have value, many golfers overlook the gains in speed and distance that come from increased strength, mobility, and athleticism. Improving your body can enhance your swing without major mechanical changes. Many golfers achieve greater distance, consistency, and efficiency more quickly than expected when they train properly.”
Jeff is also excited to welcome John Webber to the Power Golf Performance Physical Therapy staff. John has worked with hundreds of golfers of all skill levels, including helping seniors regain distance and dozens of Division I golfers and professionals play at a higher level. John previously worked in Raleigh, North Carolina.
