Connecticut Completes Tri-State Matches

Brewster, Massachusetts (October 13, 2021) – Team Connecticut did all they could to scratch and claw their way back into the mix at the 87th Tri-State Matches. Following a slow start on Tuesday morning Connecticut finished second in each of the next two sessions but the early deficit ended up being too big to overcome.

Led by 5.5 points from Bob Murphy Jr. (14.5 points overall) Connecticut amassed 46 points in the Wednesday morning singles but it wasn’t nearly enough as Massachusetts rattled off a 60 point session on their way to a come from behind victory. For Massachusetts, it was their 16th win in the last 17 Tri-State Matches.
